Yesterday I did a little bit of coupon shopping, purchased two Snow White DVDs at Wal-Mart for Christmas gifts and saved $10 on each of those, got some free dog food, then I have a rebate for No yolk pasta, so that will be free. The next items that were purchased was Skippy peanut butter, paid a dollar for that, and Quaker Oat bars paid a dollar for those as well. My husband eats cereal bars, oat bars, etc... in the mornings for breakfast. I also purchased the Mott's Apple juice at Target, if you buy 5 at a $1.75 this week, you will get a $5 gift card to Target. Since we shop at Target and Jackson has started drinking apple juice, this was a great deal. I also went shopping earlier this week and did great at Wal-greens with their register rewards. I'm still new at the register rewards and trying to learn the ins and outs of the system. Then stopped at Kroger and they had Beech Nut baby food for 19 cents a jar (stage 2) and 29 cents a jar (stage 3). Well, I had coupons for Beech Nut too. So I ended up with about 60 jars of baby food for about $5, great deal! I was very excited about that and since I got these so cheap if there is some food Jackson doesn't like or ends up being allergic too I can pass them onto friends. I did look at the expiration dates and the baby food does not expire until 2011, so we are good there as well.
I get so excited about coupons and the deals I get. I have several rebates that I am waiting on from various companies. That is always exciting, one day I came home from work and I had 3 rebate refunds in the mail and no bills! That was a good mail day! Let me know if you have any questions about my coupon system and how I do things. If I can do the coupons and have a baby, work, school, married, etc... then you can do it too!
